Our Mission

Water Survival Boxes

Here at Paulton Methodist Church, our on-going project is to support the Water Survival Box charity. This is a fantastic charity which provides boxes of equipment used to purify water. The boxes are sent all over the world to survivors of natural or man-made disasters, allowing them to access clean, safe, drinking water.  The boxes also contain a range of survival items including cooking pots, bowls, plates, mugs, utensils, health and hygiene items along with basic shelter and simple tools - all necessities for those surviving a disaster.  Find out more about this charity here.

Somer Valley Foodbank

As a church, we are very much aware of the need for Mission within our own locality and are therefore  supporting the Somer Valley Food Bank. We provide a space for the storage and distribution of food as well as donating items of food. We have a donation basket for food inside the church building which anyone can donate to when the church is open. (Please note food can only be given to those with a voucher or voucher code). To find out more about donating to or receiving food from the Somer Valley Foodbank please click here.

Paulton Larder

We are host to the Paulton Larder: a free food larder for use by anyone. The larder is situated at the edge of the church carpark, outside the entrance to the church hall and is accessible to anyone at anytime of day. Fresh food is donated to the larder daily by the Paulton Co-op store, other items and tinned goods are donated by the Church and other generous individuals at other times.

Christian Aid

‘Churches Together in Paulton' (CHiP) are responsible for Christian Aid Week and we all work together distributing and collecting envelopes to support the work of Christian Aid.  Find out more about the work of Christian Aid here.
